Eligible Career Pathways Program (Medical Training Plus GED)
There’s no reason to put your future on hold just because you didn’t finish high school. PCI Health Training Center offers the Eligible Career Pathway Program that provides the resources you need to work towards earning your High School Diploma Equivalency – while taking classes in one of our healthcare training programs.
By enrolling, you’ll be able to:
- Work toward earning your High School Diploma Equivalency
- Receive support and check-ins with our staff
- Access the computer lab
- Access online support for the High School Diploma Equivalency component
Diploma Equivalency Requirements:
- Pass an independently administered, Department of Education approved, Ability to Benefit Test.
- Concurrent enrollment in adult education and eligible post-secondary programs.

Earn Your High School Diploma Equivalency While You Train for a Career
While you are enrolled in a healthcare career program you will also be working towards earning your High School Diploma Equivalency.
Medical Assistant
Our Medical Assistant training prepares you for work as an entry-level Medical Assistant. Graduates will be able to check vital signs, assist in physical examinations, administer medications, and perform electrocardiograms and basic laboratory tests.
Dental Assistant
The Dental Assistant Program can teach you the skills you need to find work as a Dental Assistant, Dental Receptionist, Office Manager, or Dental Hygienist Assistant in a dental office, specialty practice, or dental clinic.
Medical Office Assistant
The Medical Office Assistant Program can prepare you to work as an entry-level medical front office assistant, receptionist, insurance billing, insurance collector, or appointment scheduler, in health care centers, clinics, hospitals, and medical billing offices.
